Project Description

Shoreline Aggregates Inc. were able to secure a contract, crush and ship over 2.8 million tonnes of base rock aggregate to Charleston, South Carolina. The first ship departed Port Rousse in September 2016, after 48 shiploads and 2.8 million metric tonnes of 1.5 inch minus were exported, this contract concluded in October 2017. The aggregate from Port Rousse was used by the South Carolina Port Authority for the expansion of their Hugh K. Leatherman Sr. container terminal.
